LibertyNET Office Edition Version 4.0 is targeted at instant, low cost deployment of document management systems. It is an ideal software complement to current office equipment upgrades. Many organizations are migrating office equipment from standalone copiers to Multi-Function Products (MFPs). These new network connected devices may support any combination of printing, faxing, copying, scanning, and more. LibertyNET Office empowers the scanning function for these new devices, delivering on simple, automatic, electronic filing of critical documents.

The addition of a document management system to a new MFP installation increases worker productivity by eliminating manual filing. It also addresses corporate compliance pressures and provides a scalable platform for growth in general usage of document and content management for other critical needs in the office.

LibertyNET Office Architecture

LibertyNET Office ships with a pre-built, easy to understand electronic file management structure that is analogous to the manual filing systems found in many offices. The digital filing structure is hierarchically arranged as cabinets, drawers, and folders. Each of ten (10) Cabinets contains ten (10) drawers, and each of the ten (10) drawers contains twenty six (26) folders. The system is highly powerful yet easy to administer. For example, the administrator uses a simple check box menu to restrict individual user access by cabinets, drawers, and folders.

Once in the system, documents become searchable knowledge that can be viewed, printed, faxed or emailed. Users can quickly perform essential document management tasks such as indexing, full-text searching, annotation, auditing, optical character recognition, importing, document merging, media publishing, and more. Support is provided for both Windows based client access (thick) and internet based browser access (thin).

    Add files scanned from a digital Multi-Function Device (MFD), TWAIN scanner, Sharp OSA, or eCopy directly to LibertyNET Office

    Image Recognition:
    OCR each page (TIFF and PDF), making the text available for searching by any keyword(s) in a document

    Custom Filing Structure:
    Similar to a traditional file cabinet, each of the 10 virtual CabiNETs has 10 separate drawers and each drawer has 26 folders (A-Z). Rename them to suit your needs, and add folders with a right-click

    Quickly retrieve documents by browsing file folders, searching for a specific index value or by any keyword or phrase within a document

    Import Wizard:
    Centralize important electronic files by importing and indexing them into folders

    Export Documents To CD:
    Create searchable/ viewable CDs for document portability and sharing with non-LibertyNET Office users (optional)

    Print directly to LibertyNET Office from your favorite programs

    Barcode Coversheet:
    Generate Barcode coversheets directly from LibertyNET Office

    Bulk Import:
    XML import interface can be used to import documents (images and index data) from third-party vendors such as FabSoft
