The web-based technology results in a records management solution fully compliant with the latest US DoD 5015.2 standard. LibertyNET Records Management contains a full feature set, including capture, classify, file plan and retention/disposition.
Tarian’s product is the first “engine” technology to be certified compliant. Unlike other records management applications, Tarian’s technology is actually a software engine specifically designed to be rapidly and easily embedded inside existing business software. Tarian’s application certified by DoD was based entirely on its new engine technology. The product is completely webbased, and offers email and document filing, manual and automatic classification, and full formal lifecycle management capabilities.
Email capture and classification abilities were certified with Microsoft Outlook.
